Went to Railex with the good Mr.Preece yesterday. A fine show one of the best in the country I would say.
Took lots of photos so have some blog material at least for a couple of days.
Alas no 3mm unlike last year when there were 2 layouts of which Croydon’s Hemlock was one and Phil Hutchings Sandown was the other.
Back to the layout. The first End of the Line won best in show, more I think for the radio controlled lorry was the star kept me and others memorised for ages.
Then there was Wadebridge – 2mm FS which was made by the owner of Wenford Bridge (first shown in 1999 would you believe!)
And finally Ironstone from Chris Nevard, a lovely one point layout. Chris is very approachable always willing to talk about his layout
That’s all for now, post some more pics later.
