Last Saturday saw me at the Honeywood museum helping Mr.P with his O 16.5 layout Mole End.

The event was put on to by Carshalton and Sutton, Croydon and Wimbledon model railway clubs to promote themselves.

The show was very relaxed and there was good banter amongst the club members. This was a good opportunity to talk to members of the public of all ages and there was a fair amount of interest.

All and all a most enjoyable day and if you are ever in the Carshalton area the Honeywood museum is a hidden gem worth visiting to discover the local history of the area.

  1. Event actually put on by the Honeywood Museum to increase the number of Visitors , we ,the 3 clubs use it for extra publicity.
Your photos show 2 areas where extra finishing is required and surprisingly conceal one
I take it the washed out effect on the second on is the effect of the use of flash or just a different effect of the lighting
